Wall art
For Café 1886, Helsingborg Sweden 2023
For over 100 years, the citizens of Helsingborg have been able to buy their locally roasted coffee from Zoégas in this shop, café and former coffee roastery. In late 2022 the place was taken over by a group of local entrepreneurs and underwent a major renovation. I was commissioned to design wall art for 3 of the rooms - for both a decorative and an educational purpose.
Based on sketches by the interior architects Superlab, I created 3 different styles for the wall art. The following step was to adjust each print to fit the vintage frames.
I highly recommend to visit this place to enjoy a great cup of coffee/fika and learn some history about Helsingborg in a very nice ambiance!
